What You Get.
Advanced driving techniques, driver attitude and vision will be covered together with correct use of modern safety features. An explanation of the correct braking techniques will be covered before being put to the test in a practical demonstration.
The advanced driving courses are suitable for young drivers right up to the more experienced drivers that just need to hone their skills. Advanced Driving Courses and Defensive Driving Courses can be conducted in any roadworthy vehicle from the smallest sedan right up to 4 x 4 and light commercial vehicles. AS Driving is accredited to use the Gerotek international training facility and participant's course certificates are recognised by most major insurance institutions.
The focus of an AS Driving day is definitely not on driving fast and dangerously! A final debrief will recap the day, re-assess the driver's attitude before Advanced Driving Course certificates, Defensive Driving Course certificates and course notes are handed out as recognition of having completed the course.
